Workforce

Developing an appropriate workforce is an integral part in ensuring the sustainability of any sports club or organisation.

Coaches, staff and volunteers are what enables community sport to continue to grow and develop. As part of the Blaby District LSA, we pride ourselves on our ability to further support and develop coaches and volunteers.

This page will provide a variety of support and resources to help improve your workforce.

Volunteering in sport isn't just about being a coach or an official - it can involve helping out at an event, organising a lunchtime running group, 5-a-side football league or even rounders in the park! Or perhaps use your IT, marketing, administration, fundraising and management skills to support clubs or just get involved to help and have fun. Leicestershire Rutland and Sport have a variety of volunteering opportunities go and take a look!

Whatever your role, whether that's a coach, facilitator, instructor, leader, teacher or trainer, UK Coaching can help you to be active and improve by helping you connect with the people in front of you and to put their dreams, feelings, needs and well-being at the heart of your coaching.
